As far as I remember somewhere you'll have to remove the roof interior from the back by pulling out two plugs that keep it with the roof.
I wonder how good this antenna would be.
Any link or part number where to buy it? From the photo I see it's from a J11 Nissan Qashqai.

Re: Rear air vents
Wonder how hard would it be to make such vents present in our cars.

Re: 2DIN radio for Visia model
Yes, "The Perfect Cut". That's why I started with a prototype. My initial thought was to make the gap slightly larger and fill it with some ambient light but it ended being filled with a 1mm or less carbon flat bar.

Re: 2DIN radio for Visia model
The whole panel is really made from two parts - top and bottom. The bottom is kind of a base mount for the top one. I'll take a picture of mine tonight. What you see in this picture is the top / cover part. But the idea is that you separate these two parts (the bottom one is the same in all models, ...

Re: 2DIN radio for Visia model
Good luck with searching for a good quality radio frame - all used ones are more or less scratched I'm afraid and it's either a compromise between the price and quality or try asking at a dealer for a new frame (but sit down before you hear the price, just in case). I have an Android radio. Not Andr...

Re: 2DIN radio for Visia model
Good news - no gluing needed. The lower ventilation control panel is attached by some latches so you simply take it apart from the original panel and plug into the cut one.
I could send you one cut panel but it doesn't look too good so either vinyl wrap it or painting might be needed...

Re: 2DIN radio for Visia model
Hard to say, I got mine locally - removed the original light, went for a motorcycle ride to a shop 25km away that had them on stock, checked the sizes and bought it. It seems like this kind of light is universal to many models, so it should fit, but I'd double check if I were you. One more thing - t...
