Re: Stop/ start , ABS, ESP and tyre pressure warnings !

Before I got to the final sentance, the battery was my immediate thought. You might want to post this on the pulsar forum facebook group too as that a bit more active than here.

Re: Rear plate locking screws for Pulsar 2017

I'll have to get my niece and her husband to try that. They live about 15 miles into Wales so can't visit any of us in England. If she tells the plod she has a couple of screws loose they would probably believe her anyway. :-)

You can drive to get your car repaired during lockdown.
I wonder what the North Wales Police reaction would be to somebody trying a 120 mile round trip because a couple of screws had come loose.

Re: Rear plate locking screws for Pulsar 2017

The OP's problem is that he can't get to the dealership due to lockdown and needs to do something now.

Re: Engine malfunction

My dealership changed my battery when I wasn't even aware there was a problem with it. This was at the 3rd service, so immediately before the warranty expired. I've had my problems with the dealership in the past, but that was good customer service.

Re: Rear plate locking screws for Pulsar 2017

Could you use Loctite or similar? There are a number of different products and I'd guess that one should do the job but still enable the screw to be undone if the need arises.

Re: Periodic maintenance schedule

I can't provide a copy, but was told it's a 15,000 mile or 12 month service interval. There only seem to be two service options of minor and major services which alternate.

Re: Impossible to open the doors (remote control AND mechanical keys don't work)

Pleased to see that you finally got things sorted. When I changed the battery in the fob I put it in the wrong way up too! That despite being very careful to ensure I didn't turn the old battery over when I removed it!
