Re: Letter from Nissan dealership

A bit late for the plate change, that was 1st of March. That said, our local dealership probably doesn't realise that!

Letter from Nissan dealership

Has anybody received a letter from their dealership asking if they are interested in trading in their low mileage Pulsar? I spoke to them yesterday and they were prepared to offer high trade in and special offer on purchase of another vehicle. Ironically they say there is high demand at present. Som...

Re: Stop/Start Fault

drove qq curtasy car with electronic handbrake, not a fan of that system I agree. What can be easier than simply pulling a lever to set the handbrake? On one of the traffic police programmes a while ago they were called to a brand new Range Rover which had come to a sudden halt in lane 3 of a motor...

Re: Front spoiler/splitter annoying

If it's catching on speed bumps irrespective of speed it suggests that the spoiler isn't fitted properly. I've never had the spoiler catch on a speed bump.

Re: Car stealing

I don't do anything. Although any car with keyless entry is vulnerable, I don't think the Pulsar is high on the list of desirable cars. If I was worried I'd just use the steering lock which I put on if I have to de-ice in the mornings.

Chuffed with the missus's Micra.

My wife's 07 Micra went in for MOT on Thursday. Passed with flying colours, not even any advisory notes. Looking at the results and CO was 0.01 when upper limit is 0.20 and HC was 3 with upper limit of 200. Who needs a modern car to get low emissions? :D

Re: Tire pressure - not reading left front tire

I had a low pressure warning for one of my tyres. Checked it and the pressure was fine. Booked it in for work under warranty, but before that date arrived, the warning disappeared and the sensor has worked fine ever since. When I phoned to cancel the appointment I was told that the sensor will often...

Re: About to buy a Pulsar

"They contacted Nissan who may be willing to replace the engine". Hopefully stating the obvious, but if they don't replace the engine you must get the deposit back and walk away. Before making a decision you need to know exactly what they mean by 'replace the engine' as from what I've read there hav...
