Re: New tyres

Hey Syneman, I'm assuming you have 16's fitted. My stock 17s are 205/50 and are comfortable yet still put up with a little bit of fun in the corners but let down by standard springs. Depending on the width of your selected alloy, you may want to see if they would accept up to 225/45 if you're lookin...

Re: Problems starting in the cold.....battery?

Cost me around 74+24 fitting for stop/start system reset at Nissan dealer. Just out of warranty. Used vehicle, 4yr old. I don't use stop/start.
£100 all in not bad since Halfrauds battery alone was 157.

Re: Latest map update

Snap, no reply either. Certainly not willing to pay full price, since double that could replace the unit! I've got a 64 reg on connect 2 (without SDcover). I want to just leave Pulsar as it is but just update maps. My van has only a radio so will upgrade that to an android head unit. Keep us all pos...

Re: Windscreen

Has it been fixed yet?
In case you've never had a screen replaced, it will probably rattle about for the next week.
Happened to my van a couple of year ago. First time in 30+ years driving.

Re: Switch car alarm off

Is that the sensor off button that's at the right knee next to the stop/start button?
Never used mine but I think that's the one you mean.

Re: Brake pads

Cheers StuGee, like you say, part prices are not much more when you look on likes of AutoDoc etc. May buy the gear over the course of next year/paint and fit them when needing replacing. I'm not going down BIG brakes route. 1.2 is only a commute car and runaround. Love it tho.

Re: Brake pads

Thanks SplanK, I thought there was a rear difference too but there isn't! Must be to allow for the extra weight of the 1600 lump. If the rears were larger then I would have thought about a change all round. May just upgrade to a brand when it comes to it. Not wanting to break the bank with the likes...

Re: Back to lighting

From memory DRL is H16? and fogs are the same as the full beam under different H-guises but fit anyway. Bought mine, started to take off lower clips to swap, it rained so gave up and not finished yet lol.
