Thanks stiyo ,I'll start the job when I've some spare time on Sunday . I seem to remember that it takes a fair old tug to remove the panel.

Removal of plastic centre surround on dashboard
Hello, My car is a Pulsar 2017 1.2 manual. I need to remove the centre shiny black portion that surrounds the radio and heating controls, the reason for this is to try and stop all the squeaks and rattles that the dealer can't fix ! I removed it quite awhile ago and I'm not sure how I did it ! I rem...

Re: Engine Problems 1.2turbo
Hello fellow 1.2 owners, I also was disappointed to find out my 1.2 Pulsar has the same appalling engine that was fitted to my previous car ( Renault Captur 1.2) , the Captur engine started to use oil at only about 1,500 miles or so and had numerous software updates to try and cure the oil consumpti...

Re: Stop/Start Fault
Hello,
As kt53 states there is a button to disable the stop/start , you have to press it every time you start the car, but it's worth the effort to disable the ridiculous start/stop.
I have attached a photo which I hope makes it clear which button to press.
All the best from Neale.

Re: Alternative Nissan Alloys
I changed the wheels on my 1.2 Tekna from the original 215/45/18 J7 with ET47 to 215/55/17 J6.5 with ET4.5 , the reason being I like a 'softer' ride and after the swop there's a noticeable difference as they do give a smoother ride. The speedo is approx 1 mph slower reading now with the tyre/wheel s...

Re: Rattles everywhere
Hello, Very interesting reading that I'm not the only person finding my car -- 1.2 Tekna --has poor fuel consumption and many rattles. I've had the windscreen replaced on mine as it wasn't fitted properly at the Factory , I still have a strange creaking /knocking noise which appears to come from the...

Re: Problem finding rear hatch button
Hello,
What a good simple idea for anyone trying to find the very poorly placed rear hatch opening button.

Re: Rattles everywhere
Hello, Thanks for all the posts concerning my first impressions of my Pulsar , I've noticed I had a 'senior moment' and posted that my previous car was a Pulsar when in fact it was a Captur !! I stand by what I wrote in that the car moving a small amount is concerning at first , even now it adds som...
