Re: Will I be able to sell a 2018 Nissan pulsar in 2025??
Get either the R.A.C. or the A.A. to carry out compression checks on the four cylinders BEFORE you make a decision the 1.2 engine is notorious for oil leaks and engine seizures as I found out when I drove to Spain. Coincidently, the engine seized just outside Barcelona where the bloody thing was mad...

Re: Did I just buy a lemon?
Hi, Sorry to hear of your problems, I have owned my Pulsar 1.2 DIG-T since end of August 2018 and my instinct was to send it back for a refund within the 30 days timescale stipulated. I did not follow my instinct and paid for it in May when we drove to Southern Spain and the car suffered an engine s...

Re: 1.2 petrol engine
Hi Slioch,
Is there any way that I can copy and paste the Technical bulletin above as I need something like this to back my claims for a full refund on my Pulsar which to date has been ignored. I have tried copy and paste but it will not work.
Cheers, Jim.

Re: Pulsar 1.2 engine replacement
Well it has happened, we have made our trip to Spain and with 266 miles left to travel our 2015 1.2 dig-t died on a motorway showing a stop\start system fault on screen. I will not go into the stress and trouble that we experienced as a result of this however in spite of the fact that we have a 12 m...

Re: About to buy a Pulsar
Not had any problems with mine (touch wood) 2015 1.2 Dig-t other than mpg ranging from 35 to 43 per gallon which I find disappointing. Had the car for 7 months now and to be quite honest I wish it had been a 1.6 Dig T as it is very thirsty over 70 mph. Getting back to your problem, only accept an en...

Re: Pulsar 1.2 engine replacement
Difficult one this for two reasons, 1: I have a sloping drive where I checked the oil level ( yes I know )!! 2: I actually over filled cos the oil was too bloody clear...…...unlike my previous diesel which was black and easy to see!!

Re: Pulsar 1.2 engine replacement
No real help from me other than to say that I purchased the same model and year as yourself on August 4th this year without doing any research first. Had I carried out some research then I doubt very much that I would have chosen a Pulsar......although I have to say that mine has been ( touch wood )...
