Depending on what the dealership is charging, you might want to look into this tool here. I cleared my airbag light with it and it supports tons of other diagnostics too.

Re: Airbag light stays on
Have you maybe disconnected the airbag switch in the glove compartment?
Even if you reconnected it at a later time, the fault is stored in the airbag control unit.
You either need a Nissan specific diagnostic tool or a visit to the dealership.

Re: Diagnostic tool
I'll just answer my own question: The Autel MaxiAP200 works beautifully with the Pulsar. Tons of (all?) control units can be diagnosed and the error codes removed. It also has various service options like resetting the BMS etc., but I haven't tried anything of that yet. I paid a discounted price of ...

Diagnostic tool
Hi all, does anyone here have experience with diagnostic tools and the Pulsar? I.e. devices that can read and delete fault codes etc. from control units like SRS, airbag and so on. Not the cheap standard OBD2 tools. Maybe even functionality beyond that, like resetting the BMS and such. I found this ...

Re: Gearbox Oil
You have a video with sound of a gear change? In general, I find the Renault gearboxes in the 1.2 and 1.6 "okay" in regard to notchiness and gear change noises, but not excellent.

Re: No air from defroster vents
Okay, that one is on me: I disassembled everything again to take a look at the motors and levers on the heater box. What I found was two disconnected stepper motors with the cables dangling behind them. I had seen those dangling connectors when I removed the blower motor but paid no attention to the...

Re: Replacing the battery
Another thing: The automatic up function of the driver side window will be disabled when disconnecting the battery and has to be setup again like this: 1. Open driver side door to below its half point 2. Close it by pulling the window switch fully up and hold the switch all the way up for ~10 second...

Re: Replacing the battery
For reference, the Qashqai manual contains this procedure for the removal of the battery terminals: 1. Open hood 2. Turn ignition on 3. Turn ignition off while the driver side door is open 4. Exit the car and close the door 5. Wait at least three minutes (12 minutes for the 1.2 DIG-T). Do not operat...

No air from defroster vents
Hi guys, Background story: My Pulsar had a problem with leaves (from a tree :D) being stuck in the area behind the blower motor and thus causing serious noise issues (whirring etc.). My dealer was useless in removing all of said leaves and charged me for one hour of work without any noticeable impro...
