Re: DRL an Emergency Forward Brake.
What's wrong with having DRL's on?and why would you want to disable a safety feature?given the fact these are safety features more and more cars will have them! As mentioned you can turn off the forward braking.Did you not research the features off the car before buying ? i know i did!!

Re: Advice wanted re Pulsar 1.2 DIG T Manual
I think by the time you get near the top of Telegraph hill you will need to be changing down a gear, drop it down before the rev's drop too low.My previous car struggled with that one!! Yaris 1.33 Fwiw i took the Pulsar up to Hemel Hemstead back in Feb and had no problems with accelerating in 6th for...

Re: Advice wanted re Pulsar 1.2 DIG T Manual
"There is a definite flat spot on the turbo which can be disconcerting until you have learned to modify your driving slightly to avoid the problem. " I must agree that there appeared to be a flat spot when i first had the car Nov 16. However when it was serviced this March an upgrade to th...

Re: FRONT OFF SIDE ABNORMAL TYRE WEAR
I don't think the Pulsar is any harder on tyres than any other car. I purchased in 2012 a new Kia Rio 3 which had 17" wheels fitted with Conti sports, I see my Pulsar is fitted with the same tyre so it will be interesting to see how long they last !

Now there's a thought (taking tongue of cheek!!)

Re: 1st Service
Forgot to mention on my last post,The car went in for it's 1st service on Friday 10th .whilst in the engine ECU software was updated, not sure what the update was but it certainly doesn't seem to bog down and the stop/start is more active. Now that wouldn't happen if i serviced it myself or took it t...

Re: Low fuel warning
Is it such a problem ?the upside is you are never going to run out of fuel, yes i know it's a nuisance but if the gauge showed more fuel than you actually have you are in danger of running out! and murphies law would have it happen on a cold wet night with a long walk/wait for assistance (:
