Re: Will I be able to sell a 2018 Nissan pulsar in 2025??
The Pulsar isn't common as it was only produced for about 5 years. The engine is Renault as I suspect is most of the running gear. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to sell it, just don't expect it to have any great value. They are nice cars, with far more space for rear seat passengers than most...

Re: 1.2 engine
I have heard similar comments, but agree it's ridiculous. I had a Nissan Primera with over 100k on the clock still using the original timing chain. There is a Nissan Pulsar C13 Owners Club group on Facebook which is worth joining. It was created by somebody from this group and is much more active.

Re: Nissan connect app
I agree with Metalmickey, it's not worth trying to use it.

Re: electrical fault
Somebody did post on the forum about corrosion of the wiring loom. You might get more information from the Nissan Pulsar C13 Owners Group on Facebook. Most people who are members on here have migrated to that group.

Re: Wireing harness replacement
There is a Facebook Group - Nissan Pulsar C13 Owners Club, which was set up by a former member of this forum, and is much more active. It would be worth asking the question there.

Re: Engine fault
I assume it's the 1.2 petrol. There were a lot of problems with the 1.2 engine from 2015 with excessive oil consumption and consequent engine damage. If you have had the car from new, and it's been serviced by Nissan, it would be worth having a conversation with them about the known engine problems ...

Re: How To Guide - Pulsar Handbrake Adjustment
I'd forgotten all about the excessive handbrake travel. When my Pulsar was new I almost needed to get the rear passenger to pull it back! At the first service it was adjusted to the same level as any 'normal' car. How they could ever think the original setting was acceptable is beyond me.

Re: Start Stop Engine Fault Lights
It sounds like an electrical problem of some sort to me. If it happens going round corners maybe it's a loose connection.

Re: Connect version?
No you can't 'grab and go' the map update. At a Nissan dealership it will cost well over £100, but they are available on line for much less. I got mine here https://www.latestsatnav.co.uk/ Even the 'new' version has data from early to mid 2020 (that's not a typo). The problem with the radio cutting ...

Re: Connect version?
It's Connect 3. If you are checking for map updates the latest is V6.
