Re: Impossible to open the doors (remote control AND mechanical keys don't work)

If the mechanical key doesn't work it isn't a battery fault more likely a BCM fault and the rental company should recover it.

Re: Pulsar Wet Rear Passenger Footwell Help Please.

Hey dude, not sure if you got this sorted but just check under your your dash, where the pedals are, try and squeeze the insulation to check for damp, on both sides

It seems (fingers crossed) my cars stayed dry since having the windscreen resealed

Re: Tail light fuse

Common for those bulbs to get knocked loose In there metal fixings with being in the actual tailgate, just putting it out there, wouldn't worry too much about dodgy earths etc :)

Re: Exhaust pressure sensor

P.s, you can access them from below on a ramp. Bit of a struggle but better than all the stripping up top.

Re: Exhaust pressure sensor

In the picture above, the two hoses (black and brown) dry out and crack.
I'm a nissan techy and this is very common, try and get your old sensor back as spare if possible and change those pipes.

Good luck :)

Re: 1.2Dig-T gone tappety in the cold weather

It's the injectors.
Dig-T motors are direct injected like diesels, and like diesels the injectors can be tappy in cold weather. It's why they sound slightly tappy even when warm.

Aslong as you aren't losing significant oil I wouldn't worry too much, but these engines can be troublesome

Re: tunes, short shift, springs.

1st or 2nd generation 1.6T? Theres 2 different motors, springs etc. Are pretty easy to find, yet to find a short shift but I bet something can be done with a juke listed part, most of my mods are for the juke but fit the pulsar.

Re: Chip tuning on a dyno

I mean that unfortunately the 1.2 Turbo engines have a very high failure rate at best, unless you're one of the very lucky few!

If you don't mind us asking, what mileage has your pulsar done, and what year is it? Do you need to top up your oil regularly and if you do, roughly how much/often?
