Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

Thanks getz, but I object to paying anything to update software which is out of date within weeks of purchasing a brand new vehicle. Nissan have acknowledged receipt of my email so I'll see what the reply is.

Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

I purchased my Pulsar, brand new in November last year. A few weeks ago I had a display appear on the Sat Nav to the effect that a map update was available, to contact my dealership. I called them today to be informed that it's chargeable. Not too amused, I asked how much it is, assuming a few quid ...

Yeah, the miles to empty really has little true value, and seems to be far more inaccurate on the Pulsar than on any previous car. Keeping an eye on the gauge is the better route.

Re: Reverse Camera problem?

The Pulsar was only launched in 2014 so surely it's still under warranty. Get it sorted by Nissan.

Re: Miles to empty display

I certianly wouldn't pay the extra for Shell V power or similar. The claimed gains in fuel consumption are more than wiped out by the additional cost of the fuel.

Miles to empty display

I had an entertaining journey today. Left home with display showing 320 miles, by the time I got back home it was showing 308 so how many miles had I covered? Easy I hear you say - 12 miles. Wrong, I say, the answer is 95! At various points on the journey I actually watched the Miles to Empty figure...

Re: How To Guide - LED Footwell Lights

Thanks for the offer, but I'm not in your area. I'm finding what other people do to their cars absolutely fascinating, but I'll leave mine 'vanilla' :-)

Re: How To Guide - LED Footwell Lights

Great tutorial, but I think I'll stick with dark footwells :-)

Yes they heat at the same time as the rear screen.
