Re: My 2015 Nissan Pulsar (#Projectpulsar)

Great report of the mishaps which have befallen you recently. I do wonder though, why you spend lots on making the car look good, but try to cut costs on the bit which will actually make it stop and therefore keep it looking good. False economy is the term which comes to mind :-)

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

Using a standard SD card, and allowing customers to update it via their PC, is the obvious thing to do if customer service is the main desire. It IS a standard SD card. SD stands for Secure Digital, which means each card has a unique identifier burnt into it which is not normally accessible to soft...

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

I agree that inbuilt is preferable. As with the current version, I did use common sense rather than blindly trying to follow instruction. Fortunately I'm of an age where I prefer maps anyway and use satnav as a backup. I used it yesterday, coming back from Scotland, as I was using a route I'm not fa...

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

I do like the sat-nav but I don't think I'd be willing to pay over £100 per year for map updates. I'd go back to using my Garmin which has lifetime free updates.

Re: 1.6 Dgit Pulsar Fuel Economy

The problem of sluggish pull off isn't restricted to the diesel. I'm driving the 1.2 petrol and am also generally light on the hot pedal and have the same issue.

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

It's a pity the system doesn't auto update. The only reason I can see for them using an SD card which won't work on a conventional PC is so that they can make more money from customers who have no option but to cough up for the update or accept that they will very quickly have a totally useless in-...

That's my guess too, although sensor rather than camera. Thankfully it didn't apply the brakes.

Re: POWER

Had my 1.2 petrol in for a service in Feb and they did an update to the ECU which has made a significant improvement. The petrol engine also suffered with bogging down at low rpm in 1st/2nd. Has the ECU update improved the bogging down problem? My first service isn't due until November, so if the up...

Re: DRL an Emergency Forward Brake.

I was driving alongside a row of buses today when the warning beep went off. Absolutely nothing in front of me, buses were static, and I was driving straight ahead.
