Re: Rear light Housing

After changing my rears, I noticed I scratched the paint around the edges of both the clusters. USE MASKING TAPE around the edges of the paintwork or lights when you do it!!
Also, use a pair of grippy rubber style gloves to assist with the power/adhesion.

Re: Nissan connect

I gave up after trying one weekend. Useless after it leaves the factory. I'll buy an android screen and get that fitted instead once Mr Richmond shows us his and lets us all know what was involved 😉😉
I may end up sticking it in my Vivaro afterwards.

Re: Settings

3-Reset odometer- use the steering wheel settings (up/down) button by holding it in when you are in the mileage part and it will ask you if you want to reset all mileage/fuel saved etc.
4-As for change of colour, no don't think so.
Good luck.

Re: Have you seen the light

That looks good Swe, I'd wondered about those white led tube style for front lighting but this would look good like you have done here. Post us some more pics and updates when you can.

Re: New tyres

Never use different types of tyres like winter/summer/ all season on different axles. Very dangerous times! I may get Conti5 again next time as had little issues in the snow. Check with your insurance company before downgrading your tyres for the sake of a few quid. Or size up with new rubber to big...

Re: Stop Start

Yup, the stop start button needs to be pressed every restart of the engine. As for the digital Speedo, on 205/50/17's at 33MPH, my phone apps and GPS apps all say 30 MPH so check for the likes of that too. Mr Richmond could let us know if the speedo can be readjusted by Nissan dealers for different ...

Re: What Colour Wheels?

I'm just going to get my standard 17's powder coated the regular silver once I put the winters on in Oct this year.
Personally I'd love a set of the Bold 17's but cost way too much.

Re: Snow

This is the 1st car I've driven without winter tyres in years but VERY surprised at getting home from Edinburgh in a 3hr drive that can take over 15 mins on a clear day. I'm assuming it's down to the traction and Conti5's but I honestly did not think I'd get up the inclines I did. My van has winters...
