As a follow up to my previous post, this morning I have been able to use Google send to car and successfully sent a destination from my laptop to the car. This is something I could not do in the Qashquai for the last eight months or so. All looking good.

OK - The fog lights have Nissan specific bulbs so switching these for LED bulbs is a non starter. Will now investigate dedicated led lights such as the Phillips.

To answer my own question - You don't need to re register on the Connect portal if previously registered. Just update your You+Nissan entry with the new car and check you can sign into the App on your phone. It all works perfectly and even my send to car destinations on the satnav have ported across...

I have asked my dealer to replace the DRL/foglight bulbs with LED bulbs. Will see if that has been possible or not when I collect the car tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes.
