Re: Problems starting in the cold.....battery?

Thanks all. It's booked into Nissan tomorrow, so we'll see what they say. The other oddity with the car is that it was registered in Oct 14. My warranty book says the warranty runs not until Oct 2017, but instead until Jan 22nd 2018. The my Nissan android app also gives this date. So, if there's any...

Problems starting in the cold.....battery?

Hi All, A few weeks ago, in freezing conditions waiting to collect kids, with the engine off, I managed to flatten the battery by running the heated seat and the radio. Stupidity. The RAC guy who came to jump start me (after a 2 hour wait) checked the battery with a meter and said there was nothing ...

Re: Can you make the phone text talk?

I have an app on my Samsung s8 called ReadItToMe. Allows incoming texts to be read out, and replies to be sent as per your speech.

It isn't flawless, but it's better than nothing.

Re: Driver side front sidelight (led) failed

Sorted under warranty - a loose connection which required soldering.

Was also informed there was a recall issue with the headlights which was sorted at the same time.

Driver side front sidelight (led) failed

Hi All,

My driver side front led has failed - the strip which comes on when activating the sidelights or locking the car.

As it's not a standard bulb, I've booked it into Nissan.

Assume this is a led unit which will need replaced, and that they should do this under the warranty?

Cheers,

Keith.

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

At least you've had a response. We'll watch this space. Had a call just now from lady at Nissan. She said cars registered on or after April 2015 should get V2.0; prior to this, you'll get V1.1. This tallies with my situation, but I'm not sure it fits with what other people on this post are saying.

Re: Pulsar Ignition Problems

Is it worth swapping the battery in the key itself?

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

Emailed the CEO and received a phone call this afternoon, as to why some are receiving 1.1, and others 2.0.

A lady from the CEO's office has promised to investigate.

I will post the outcome here when I know more.

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

Probably stating the bleeding obvious but v1.1 compared to v2 has to be earlier. There's going to be a difference, and surely everybody should be provided with the latest update if they are entitled to updates. Older cars are getting v1.1. Here's Nissan's reply to my email: Dear Mr Brown, Thank you...

That's interesting.

I'll go back to them and ask why I've been given a v1.1 card.

Thanks.
