Re: Uncomfortable Pulsar

There was a lot about it when it was announced. The big selling point was supposed to be the additional room in the rear. Apart from that though I only remember one, very low key, advertising campaign. I'm not complaining though as I got £4k off the price of a brand new, unregistered car. As I tend ...

Re: Uncomfortable Pulsar

Interesting comment about the published information being incorrect. I have the N-Connecta model which is one step down from the Tekna. The information on the website refers to led lighting amongst other things. This model doesn't have that. I'm not bothered, and to be honest, didn't read the spec i...

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

I tried emailing gb@nissan-services.eu; no dice. All they have said is that an update for 16 / 17 will be available in the next few months, and that I should contact my dealer to buy it in due course. The free updates must be dependant on registration date of the vehicle. When was yours registered?...

Re: Uncomfortable Pulsar

Obviously a case of not being able to please all of the people all of the time. Plenty of people seem to like the 1.6, but that's not suggesting that your views on the car aren't perfectly valid too. You like the Ford Focus, whereas I hated mine and wouldn't touch another with a barge pole. I didn't...

It doesn't seem to be quite that simple. keithbrown says his car was registered in October 14 so is still in warranty. He has been told he isn't eligible.

Re: Uncomfortable Pulsar

I gave up on Nissan when they stopped the Primera. I'd had 3, all very different in their own ways, but all great handling etc. I didn't, and don't, like the Qashqai so I was delighted when the Pulsar appeared. What I don't understand though is why the rear seat bases don't fold up to provide a flat...

Re: Advice wanted re Pulsar 1.2 DIG T Manual

I don't like cruise control as I really don't feel in proper control of the car when using it. I have experimented with it a couple of times, and it has done what it says on the tin.

Re: Different Stop/Start issue

I've only had that happen once. What worked for me was to hit the Stop/Start button, then wait maybe 10 seconds (seemed much longer), depress clutch and start again.

Re: Sat Nav Map Update - Nissan taking the ****

They are sending out new SD cards which I guess, but don't know with certainty, have complete maps on them. Regarding elegibility for the map updates, I get the impression that the free update is a comparatively new thing as my local dealership didn't know about it. I have no idea how far back the o...

Re: Uncomfortable Pulsar

I have to say I have a lot of sympathy with Dave. Back in the olden days of the Primera, I test drove a different engine size to the one I was getting, and accepted that the performance wouldn't be the same. I did expect the ride, level of finish and comfort etc to be the same though. When I was loo...
