It should be the turbo whirring.
If it's an automatic temperature, when you push the de mist, it should turn the flap inside the ventilation, it takes a second or two and it's reducing the fan speed and it turn on the AC compressor, when the flap is on it's position, the fan starts to full.

On the maintenance book, it's written for 150k km or 5 years. Same as accessory belt and their pulley.

Re: Pulsar 1.5 dci long term reliability
Got mine (1.5dci 2015) now on 168k km i drive around 30-35k km per year. Just changed the timing belt, water pump on 156k, the most expensive service maintenance ever. Oil, filter (oil, cabin and fuel), accessories belt, brake pads and disc and glow plugs, i did it by myself. Easy, no problem at all...

Re: Front Brake Caliper Guide(Slide) Pins
I've changed the pads a long time a go by only removing the bottom pins, didn't see any rubber bushing on those pins, so probably the one with rubber is installed on the top. afaik, the rubber is an anti rattle device.

Replaced today (£130), but still have same fault showing. Anyone know how to reset the fault message? Also...

Re: Help To Remove Door Panel
Fasteners are made of plastics (pvc) they becomes hard and brittle after years. It won't be all of them snapped though, maybe one or two, you'll still be able to put the panel back and it will holds itself without problem. It has been a few moments since i removed the door panel myself, i don't reca...

Re: Help To Remove Door Panel
Some fastener clips could be broken/snaps when you do this but you can buy them for cheap through amazon/ebay/aliexpress. There are two metal fasteners that holds around the door handle, those can falls and lost easily...glue them if they loose.

Re: Help To Remove Door Panel
Remove the window switch by prying the whole panel (1) up. Remove the switch cables. You'll find a screw under. Use a magnetized philips screw to remove this screw. Begin to yank the door panel from location 2 through all the sides (left right and bottom), then slides it up. Yank the cover then remo...
