Re: Brake pads

You could wait and change them altogether in three future. I'm thinking about upgrading my 1.2 to the larger brakes like on the 1.6 when they are due. Does anyone know if these would have to replace calipers etc also? I would assume so since circumference and shapes would differ. Anyone done this or...

Re: Replacing lights to Led headlights

Hmmm, possibly but maybe not. I presume the required ballasts etc are all built inside for the different ampage draw etc. I remember asking Volvo about my old V70 that very query about HID swap back in the day and they said no. If nobody here has any better answers, ask to speak to your best local N...

I was going to swap my Nissan into my Vauxhall but have d...

Bottle jacks

Hi folks, I'm looking into buying a bottle jack that will do a couple of vehicles in my household. The bottle will have to be able to get under the car (once lowered with Eibachs) and high enough for the van. Trolley jack is NOT an option as will take away for caravan use also. As always, share your...

Re: Rubber marks removal

I used G3 to take off light scratches from the handle area and then recently rubbed the petrol hose on the rear bumper. This took it off using dampened microfiber and cream too. I also used this on the side of my silver van after Mrs reversed past trees and scratched the whole back panel. Worked a t...

Re: Alternative Nissan Alloys

I've bought a set of juke 6 spoke D0300BA61A off ebay instead.
Mrs preferred these to the multi spoke too (didn't think she would) so will eventually use them for summers with wider rubber. Winters will be shod with M&S next year. Think I'll paint the old alloys in the summer.

Re: Latest sat nav version.

Sorry kt, 2din stereo options. I had previously thought about swapping car to van and upgrading the car but will await the latest SD card for maps and just put it into my car. The new stereo will be bought for the van since that's where the main driving is done. I did look into Sony etc but for cost...

Re: Latest sat nav version.

Do the android thing folks. Harry and another couple have.
That's my next plan. Then dump the connect2 into my Vivaro and buy an eBay card at £40+.
I certainly wouldn't trust my 2014 SD card for ANYTHING!!

Re: Engine Problems 1.2turbo

I thought micra and notes were 3cylinder and Pulsar 4cylinder? Why would they be having the same issues unless it's turbo related or similar? My original 1.6 Note was 4cylinder but the dealer ones we drove sounded feeble on its 3. If the dealer had a 1.6 Pulsar I would have taken it in a heartbeat b...

Alternative Nissan Alloys

Screenshot_20180807-144336-picsay.jpg I'm looking at different wheels ATM as I'm really not keen on the standard 17's. I know a lot of Nissan's will fit as all pcd/bore etc are the same but ET's differ. I prefer the standard silver painted look. I do LOVE the dark bold version wheels but are way ab...
