Hi Guys,

I have just managed to remove my wing mirror covers to replace with chrome set I got of ebay. I have some pics I will upload later.

I did this with 2 flat screwdrivers, you have to be brave as its a quite hard fit, but nothing broken all the clips are intact.

Continued.

There was a small bit of damage a dent to the black wing mirror plastic as I was trying to photo at the same time, looks worse on the photo that in real.. there is no damage to the old caps / covers, you can buy some plastic tools form ebay / amazon to avoid damaging the plastic, or just take your time. the small dent can be removed with a bit of heat (heated it a little and pushed it down.

Looks like you damaged the casing edge on the last but 2 photo, I'd have used a flat blade putty knife or similar instead of a thick screwdriver...not really suitable for that kind of job :( ...just sayin'
