Thanks for the heads-up. I'm planning driving less than 2k miles per year in my next car. Still hoping to get a Pulsar Tekna but am restricted to getting an Auto box (wifey's one request). CVT also seems to have issues (read several topics on it when looking at the Juke). Once the semi-auto box goes which again seems to be another known problem, it needs to be replaced/rebuilt by a specialist.

Why can't they build cars like my old Honda CRX? About the only thing that used to go wrong with that car was an occasional dizzy replacement. Just change the oil regularly and you'd be good to go. Years of hassle-free motoring.

I am the third innocent. My car broke down just 100 metres away from home when driving slowly. The engine stopped suddenly at slope. After that I couldn't start up the engine anymore. I sent it to local garage. They gave me the quote, and estimated price would be £5,800 to recon./rebuild the engine.

My model is 2016 Pulsar Automatic, just 37,750 mileages. What should I do now? It is not worth to pay £5,800 to fix it. And it may be broken down again if that is a manufacturing fault.
