Hello,
Just wondering if someone could explain the total weight limit I can put in the Pulsar. I am looking to take a camping trip with 5 of us.
Looked at the vin plate.
1785 KG (Gross Vehicle weight? )
2985 KG (Gross train weight?)
1- 1000 KG (Front axle I assume)
2- 875 KG (Rear axle)
Done a search online and I think my vehicle weight is 1,306KG (1.5 Tekna) but I have also read that the drivers weight and fluids (75KG) has been added/Subtracted already from a figure..
Little stuck .. do I just subtract 1785 from 1306 giving me 479KG free weight to play with for my other 4 passengers and luggage? (with the driver weight already included).
This is what I found below with the drivers weight, I am not fully sure on it..
"Kerb weight is the total weight of a car with standard equipment, a full tank of fuel and all necessary consumables (e.g., motor oil, coolant, etc.), but not loaded with passengers nor cargo. Note: Nissan PULSAR Nissan kerb weight is not fully comparable*.
*Many EU manufacturers include a driver (=75 kg), while others use fixed levels of fuel and other variables to equalize the value for the comparison of different vehicles."
Thanks,
Jamie
