Well they got a shift on then ! better than waiting till January for it.

I suppose in some ways I can understand the no service stamp - provided it's backed up with the detail on the new engine.
Did the tacho get set back to zero?

Resetting the mileage is an interesting one. Although resetting will obviously give a true indication of the engine mileage, it won't provide a true indication of the wear and tear on the rest of the vehicle unless mileage was very low when the engine was replaced.

Rest of car has done 35,600 miles,15 plate.
I have traded it in for a new Juke but if there are no problems after the engine replacement it will be a good car for someone and still under Nissan warranty until July 2018.

I wonder if the dealer will come clean about the engine replacement?

They gave me no documents regarding the new engine and turbo etc saying it is all on the system!

^^ did they not advise you to inform the DVLA of the new engine block number? Mine gave me the lable that came with the engine block which gave the new engine code.

Not updating the DVLA of a new engine code *could* cause you a little grief in the future.

If it has been an engine rebuild rather than replacement there won't be a new block number. I'd certainly be wondering what's going on, but I think Brownie4583 has part-ex'd for a new Juke so the problem is now with the dealership.
