Forced off the road not happy front nearside wheel rim scuffed.
Diamond cut wheel not easy to get refurbished in Bradford area and also costly .(or do you know different)
Don't want it again so on line again found some self adhesive strips at various outlets Halfords etc.
They were peel off stick on, didn't look substantial perhaps that's why they were cheap.
Back on line found ALLOYGATOR little more expensive found a dealer near me so went for a look.
Solid nylon type moulding projects at least 1/4" out and down when fitted.
Have a look at the video's on line.
I chose silver to go with the wheels but they come in many colours and sizes even luminescent purple, green and red.
Lets hope they work they are tested up to 30mph they say.

Yes they do work.
Hit curb twice front near side.
Trimed off damage with supplied tool.
No problem.
Cost saved so far 2× recut on diamond cut hubs approx £80-00 a time.
