Hi Everyone

Just registered to talk about my 17 plate Tekna 1.2

Had it about 3 months now and noticed a front end clunk/ bang (mainly in the morning) when pulling of my drive at about 3/4 to full steeing lock either left or right.

After taking it to the garage they say nothing is wrong and that nissan have admitted the front brake pads do bind to the disc but its nothing to worry about.
I'm like errrrr OK why not change the parts used to a different set to remedy the problem.
To which I got the usual BS, because its not dangerous they won't put a recall out.
So i basically have to put up with a problem your admitting to but unwilling to do anything about it, followed by an awkward YES.

Could clean discs and pads but I dont see why I should have to.

Rant over :)

was it the garage where you bought the car?
if it was mine id do it myself then you know its right, had my pulsar for 1.5 years now never had any bother with pads sticking , but its used every day and never left for a week or so, but that's cause it has too.
if your sliding pins on the caliper are greased with the white lithium grease then you shouldn't have any bother.
I changed my front and rear pads at 26000, cleaned up and greased all pins and now at 38000 still fine.
iam an ex pat Geordie.

I get that very occasionally when moving the car in the morning. Possibly weather condition specific but I haven't isolated that yet. It's once in a blue moon so not possible to replicate.
