Taken delivery of a 1.2 N-Connecta just last week. Very pleased so far, a really solid car with a ton of features (compared to our old one.

I have so many questions but the sensible ones are. Am I right that the first service is after a year? In the past new cars usually had a really early one.

Do I need to register for the Nissan breakdown service or do you just call when needed and the RAC will just attend?

Should the ESP system be turned off until you are driving in poor road conditions?

I'm sure there will be more questions.

Thanks

I was also expecting a sort of mini service after a thousand miles or so but was told they don't do that and the first service is after 1 year.

I don't touch the ESP and I haven't registered for Nissan breakdown service. As I have AA cover through my bank anyway I'll call them if I have a problem.

As KT53 said! No need for an early service, after one year is fine.

I only turn off the esp when I am in snow or ice and need a bit of wheel-spin to get me moving.
As for recovery you are signed up for it when you buy the car.
