Hello,

My May 2016 1.5dci has 14 600 miles on the clock. It had been serviced during June 2017 when it had done around 11 500. I purchased the car in August 2017 with around 11 600 miles. My question concerns the service mileage shown in the Maintenance sub-menu of the info screen. When I scroll to the service screen I see a mileage of 15 100 miles. Does that mean that it is about 500 miles to the next service? I would have thought any service would have been indicated on the dash with, say, 2 000 miles to go accompanied by a little spanner logo as on my previous cars. What is the situation here? Is a service due or can I simply reset the service mileage on the info screen then wait for the car to tell me when a service is due?

Regards,

Mark S. :)

maybe at the last service the mileage was not reset, Nissan should be able to tell you when next service is due as its all computerised now.

My dealership told me that servicing is required every 18000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. If your car was serviced in June 2017 with 11,500 miles on the clock, the next service is due in June 2018 or when it reaches about 29000 miles.
