Any help on which is best in long run, fixed service monthly payment or just paying each time. It's a 1.6 Teckna 16 plate.

It's down to personal finances really. I did a "cash deal" - no instalments - for 3 years servicing at a cost of £501. With instalments it was something like £610, and individually about £660

I paid for 3 years servicing, and the individual price for the services has already increased. I will definitely save money over the 3 years by paying in advance. There is always the risk of the company going bust but they have been around for a long time.

Got told next small service in 2019 is £199 then 2020 big service is £269 total £468 and they wanted £23.23 over next 24 months to cover it.
That's a total of £557.52 makeing a nice profit of £89.52 for the privilege of paying monthly.😁 I think not.

That's a rip-off ! My £501 was for THREE services, so how can they want so much from you for just two ?

I can only assume that interest is being charged for monthly payments. There shouldn't be as you will have paid for the big service by the time you have it done. If you want to take out the plan I would say to ask for an explanation of the price.

Nah they will do this one and the last one then it's back to my usual place to keep it in good nick for a lot less.
