The Nissan Pulsar will go on sale in the autumn in the UK and we’re expecting it to cost from around £16,000.
Nissan has confirmed to Auto Express that a Nismo performance version will be offered to give the brand a serious rival to the Golf GTI. This isn't expected until late 2015 / early 2016 though.
Nissan said they will compete with the seventh-gen Golf "from BlueMotion to GTI" but at a lower price tag.
