Courtesy car while mine is being serviced.

My Pulsar is in for service today and I've been given a top of the range Juke as a courtesy car. I love the high driving position but all the bells and whistles are sending me nuts. There are lights in the door pillars which flash whenever another car is passing alongside, with literal bells and whistles which I have discovered the reasons for yet. I'm sure I'd get used to them if it was my own car but they are annoying. The automatic folding mirrors are neat too.
It's a 1.5 diesel and it pulls away so much better than my 1.2 petrol Pulsar, and it's easy to pull away smoothly too!!

Haven't you got the blind spot warnings on your Pulsar? To be honest, after a week or so I got used to them and they do come in handy at times when you want to pull out.

I don't have the blind spot warnings on my Pulsar. I have the Nconnecta model which doesn't have the feature. With correctly set mirrors I have very little in the way of blind spots and in the Juke I could see the vehicle in the mirror before the warning light flashed.

My Pulsar NConnecta has gone in to have a creaky / squeaky seat investigate - they need it for 3 days. This time I have an 18 reg 1.5 diesel Pulsar, and it's bottom of the range. No satnav, no DAB, no tint on the windows, no keyless start. If I'd looked at that spec there is no way I would have bought a Pulsar. It also sounds like a tractor on tickover, the Juke didn't.

Did you have to pay £10 for insurance on courtesy car, westway Nissan charge their customers that.

I was actually told it was £12 but when I complained because it was in for warranty work, and I wasn't charged when I had a courtesy car when the car was in for service, I heard nothing more about it. No charge applied. The other thing that p'd me off was that I was handed a form to sign saying there was no damage to the courtesy car before I had seen it. I checked around the outside which was fine, and signed the form. When I opened the door to get in, I saw chocolate stains on the side of the front passenger seat. When I went back in to inform them they said they new about that. Why hadn't they put it on the status form?

After final service for warranty they won't see the car again if I can help it.
