Hi,
I am wondering what kind of fuel economy readings you’re getting and if you think mine is normal. I am driving in the city and my trip meter says 9.6 / 100km. I am not driving fast or anything , just random lights and short distances from home to work. I find it kind of steep for a small engine. My car is a 2015 1.2 dig . Am I doing this right ? Temperature recently is not super cold too.

6.84 l/100km average and 9.66 l/100km max recorded. Most do just around 7 l/100km it seems. So that plus mostly city driving should yield something in the higher 7 range I presume.
I'd calculate the real consumption by measuring the delta @ the petrol station and see if your in car display tells the truth.

have 1.6 petrol average 40-45 mpg on mixture A,B and motorway.
Today I got 78 mpg from my 1.2 petrol. That was a trip of about 7 miles, with 4 of them downhill Now I'm trying to find a circular route which is all downhill to see if I can improve on that.
Joking apart, I am getting high 40's on a regular basis with a mixture of motorway, A roads and local roads. I'm not heavy with the right foot, but don't hang around either.
