Afternoon all,

I have a 65 plate Pulsar 1.5 diesel, bought 4 months ago.

Since Wednesday, I have been having problems with the DAB radio. The satnav and AM/FM are working fine.

The DAB keeps losing it's connection. I've reset the head unit to factory defaults and removed the aerial from the roof and cleaned the connection out. This sorted the issue for about 5 minutes!

I've accessed the 'hidden' radio menu and the signal is bouncing between different locations and the strength doesn't go higher then 20 (it was 99 just after I unscrewed the aerial).

I have tried searching online but have drawn a blank.

I am not sure if there is a loose connection somewhere. I am not even sure if there another aerial for DAB signal in the car.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Update on my own post.

After seemingly being in a DAB black hole for a week, I had to drive to another part of the country on Wednesday. Whilst on the way back I tried the DAB and it was fine and has been fine since.

Cars eh?
