Believe me- the stock exhaust has nothing compared to a straight pipe!

Will try and get a better video of the exhaust uploaded- but the sound quality on my phone doesn't even begin to tell the story of how loud it is (hence the upcoming silencer installation!) :-p

In the meantime, here's a video of the sound from the k&n from inside the car (prior to getting the exhaust done):

I'd doubt the car makes any more than an extra 12-13hp with the induction kit, but it does sound great & the car is certainly more driveable with it on :D

I've tried to be reasonably restrained with the mods on this car compared to vehicles I've owned in the past - mainly to keep the family reasonably comfortable, but of course to appease the warranty gods should they ever be called upon... it helps that the local dealership's service manager and I are on good terms, and he ignores those mods which any sane person would say won't affect the warranty... he's a good chap.

I used to have a link to the supplier on Amazon, but they seem to have stopped selling that particular bulb.

If you have a read of the link I posted on the segment about DRLs, you'll find the info you require there :D

A mate of mine had a car with a 'boomy' exhaust and one of his neighbours complained after he got rid of the car. The neighbour had used his car as his alarm clock and overslept when the car was replaced. True I promise.

Awesome :-p

I don't think I'd have that issue with my neighbors :-p

Couple of follow up videos- again, the sound quality doesn't really measure up to what it's like in real life;

First up it's a bumper view from my action cam:

And a view from the passenger head rest:

Enjoy :)

Going back to the first post, you popped up a link to Pulsar Sport edition in Germany.... They look quite good... nice subtle tweaks and I like the carbon effect roof with red stripes..... I think I maybe able to get that passed the WAF lol

Yeah they look cracking- such a shame Nissan Uk never offered that model :-/

I don't wanna give away too much about my future plans for the Pulsar- but needless to say, the German spec Sport, 2018 Megane RS, and the Merc A Class AMG (as well of course, as the "never to be released" Nismo Pulsar), are all providing my inspiration (and in certain cases, the parts themselves....).

Watch this space ;)

Just realised that I didn't actually answer your question Splank :P

The horn is a Stebel Nautilus;

Had the exhaust altered today, with a medium sized silencer added.

Very pleased with the outcome - just as loud and bassy on full chat, but way less drone and boom on over errun & a little more sedated during pedestrian town driving :D

Also my new 6mm "nismo" red tape arrived...
Trying to upload some pics of tonight's handiwork but the forum is playing up...

Will keep trying
