Re: Car 'Health Check'
Most common health check they do is mostly oil, liquids, lights and reading OBD. If they really do check the pads, they need to remove the wheel, otherwise it is only an estimate. The brake pads has an "alarm" system to let you know it is time to change the pads. This alarm is just a bent ...

Re: How much for new front brake pads?
If you do it yourself and you have the tools and grease, brembo pads is around 35 euro and an hour work.
If you go to a nissan, they could ask you around 120-160 euros. Ask many garages about their price.

Re: Replacement Tyre choice?
Bridgestone T005 was my best tyre, excellent on wet. A little bit on the expensive side but worth it and last longer than the Conti.

Re: Wind noise from around side mirros
I don't have that issue. Maybe check if the side mirror if it is seated properly. I've had issue with the wind noise when the rubber seal on the windscreen is detached on the lower right side just near the side mirror. The gap made a high pitched noise when driving. This seal is not glued to the bod...

Re: Replacing the battery
Nothing to worry about. Just remove the two cables (negative first) and remove the holder bolt on the bottom of the battery then install the new one. What you'll lose is only the log, nothing important. I've a system with sat/nav, there's no radio code to be introduced after installing a new battery.

Re: Gearbox Oil
It's 4 years old and nearly 120k km.
I've heard and read that the oil lasts for the life of the car (if it's not leaking), but some of them suggests to change it especially if you do lots of km. Not really sure on how many km i should top it up or changed it because nowhere is mentioned.
