During last weekend I changed cabin filter. Cabin filtrer is located behind center console. Is not necessary remove the glove box, but it´s better. Hole for filter is smaller than filter and you must use some trick to put filter to your place. I have LHD car, in UK is maybe on oposite side.
When I removed filter I put back cover and clean AC with this product: https://www.sonax.com/Product-Search/(l ... reen-Lemon
After 15 minutes AC is clean and smell like citrus plant :-) Then I put new filter. I always clean AC without filter, because I use filters with active carbon and this filters absorb cleaning solution.

Has anyone done this on a RHD model and can help me figure out where the filter cover is and how to get it off?

I think this is it:

it feels like there is a clip at the top but it wont budge, there's no room around it to get something in to grip or pry it but i don't really want to do that anyway as there are too many wires and connectors in the way.
