Revs increase when clutch is pressed.

I have just bought a 2016 pulsar 1.6 petrol, when changing gear the revs only decrease to around 2000 when the clutch is pressed. When in neutral the revs increase when the clutch is pressed. The revs take what seems like an age to drop so the gears crunch unless you you change slowly. When out of gear the revs go down to normal. Hope this makes sense.

I had this when i had my first car, it's a petrol too. I think the term is "rev hang" you can google it to know more. At first it annoyed me, but i get used to it. I have diesel now and i don't have this rev hang thing.
