So last month my car lost power on the motorway, I pulled over and my engine was shaking under the bonnet. Long story short it needed a new timing chain, the turbo was leaking oil so needed a new one and the cylinders needed to be sorted along with valves, piston ring etc because a spark plug broke off the tiniest bit of metal. Anyway, got it sorted but my car still goes in to limp mode and resets when you turn the engine on and off and engine light comes on then drives fine. BUT so far the fuel sensor flagged up so replaced that, then the mass air flow so we sorted that. Now it's happened again but won't know the fault until tomorrow when he plugs it in - I'm not convinced it was either of them. I'm not a mechanic evidently but when I drive it its slow and sluggish until 3rd gear when it drives fine until it cuts out again!
Does anyone have any clue before I lose my mind?
