Hi, I am new to the forum but not new to Pulsar ownership. I have owned my 2015 1.6 DIG-T for 3 years and ever since i have had it, I have had a flat spot that occurs when i throttle up gradually or change gear. It has been gradually getting worse and it now occurs when I accelerate hard as well and slowly increasing the speed or slightly pressing the throttle.
I have plugged in my diagnostic tool and have even taken it to have a more advance diagnostic run on it but no codes come up. I have had spark plugs replaced but I cant eliminate the issue and would be grateful for any pointers before i start spending money chasing around the engine trying to eliminate it. My initial thoughts are O2 sensor or coil packs but i had a similar problem quite a few years back on a Hyundai Coupe which, after replacing sensors and various ignition parts, turned out to be a worn throttle body shaft sucking in unmetered air and as it was a mechanical issue it didnt show up. Would a throttle body wear on one of these cars to cause that sort of issue on that age of car or should I be looking at the other possibilities mentioned?
