Hi, New here , hope you can help.

The wife was driving at the time without me so im relaying what she said. Soon after driving, 100 yards. the car gives a system warning and car judders. She turned around and came back home.

When I went out and started the car, it all seemed fine.

Does anyone know if this is a real issue, or maybe a glitch somewhere that the car has reset.

Many thanks in advance.

It could be anything from an iffy sensor, some sort of limp home mode, fault....

Without more information or even access to the computer/any logged fault codes, its going to be difficult to diagnose or give you any guidance. There are a number of system error messages, often with corrosponding eror lights on the dash to give you an idea.

Also, what engine/year is the car?

I'm not sure what you are asking. You had a problem, the garage found a fault and fixed it and now you have your car back. Are you saying you still have the problem? If so you need to take it back to the dealer again.

Hi I am asking should I be concerned as to whether the fault is likely to re-occur or something major could be lurking.Just wondering what needed done for others with this issue.Car is under warranty and I have had issues with the start/stop system and some tweaking done by dealer already just know that after 6 months I don't have the same consumer rights.Car has only been driven home from garage so wont know if all ok until I start driving her for normal every day travel.

The reason for my original confusion about the question was because it seemed that you had a single problem which had been addressed by the dealership. Seeing your other thread, that is far from the case. It might me advisable to speak to a solicitor who specialised in consumer law.
