No. I have with the sat/nav version.

I'm always wondering if I get a radio like a Pioneer or whatever if it's still possible to set the clock from it.

can someone explain to me in detail how to remove the front panel to remove the car radio

Behind the hazard button there are 2 screws, remove them. Then put your each hand on the edge of the panel then yank/pull the bottom part of the panel to your direction.
