I've had my Pulsar nearly 4 weeks & have just noticed how bad the paint work is on my bonnet! I got some bird dirt on it overnight and have cleaned it off using the Pure Guard Bird Dirt cleaner however even after washing the car & waxing afterwards you can clearly see exactly where the bird dirt was. While cleaning we noticed that there is a 4mm chip out of the paint work right the way through to the metal!
Is anyone else having any issues with their paintwork? I dread to think how it would look after 6 months?
It is the Force Red, not sure if it's an issue with this colour paint but not happy at all!

i have complained to nissan several times but get no response, the first time i noticed was when the windscreen seal blew out on the motorway and when nissan fitted it back with a rubber tool they scratched right down the side, my wife is scared to use it incase it scratches again. it must be cheap paint , i have had nissan;s for the past 14 years and never known this before

These complaints are similar to those experienced by the Juke owners, me being one of them. Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do. I've noticed some raised areas of my paint around the tail gate on the bumper.

Yea from what I've seen, azure blue is a nightmare to maintain. Bit like Nightshade in that regard.

I am just about to order a Pulsar DiG-T 190 in Azure when I saw this thread, think I will change the colour. Any recommendations? Or ones to avoid that have these issues.

Many thanks

Working for Nissan, i would in hindsite, go for the white, silver or gun metallic. These would be my personal choices.

to be fair either or. They both look good. truth be told the solid white, artic white, looks whiter and cleaner than the pearl. Its only when the sun hits the pearl that you really get the benefit.
