Hey guys

Anyone know if 17" Qashqai alloys with the standard tyres (215/60 R17) will fit the Pulsar?

Also, my only real gripe with this great car is the lack of a foot rest beside the clutch. Anyone know if one is available?

I know its old but you may have alerts on and may be usefull to others..

the wheels will fit as the stud pattern is the same but the tyres might be abit tall standard side profile is 50 not 60 so according to http://www.willtheyfit.com the speedo will be 6% out.

the sport pedal pack :-

Adds a foot rest my parents have just got a Dci that came with them and they are really nice. Nissan part number is :- KE4601K082 you can get them on ebay

I got these form ebay, look good, but says you need to cut the carpet, and lift it and drill the 4 holes for the foot rest plate

Hi RaceworX

Thanks for the reply, I just saw it now, got no alert for some reason.

Anyhoo, I bought Juke rims in the end and fitted 215/55 tyres. I felt that the Qashqai standard tyres 60 profile would just be too large for the Pulsar wheel arch. I also felt that the 50 profile recommended for the Pulsar is too low and wouldn't look right. Ride quality would also suffer IMHO.

Very happy so far with the Juke rims wearing 215/55s.

Thanks for the recommendation on the footrest but that accessory kit footrest wouldn't be raised, would it? I really want a raised "step" beside the clutch like most other cars have.

no, its flat, well I haven't fitted it as I don't have the car yet, but its just a flat bit of metal with loose rubber behind, I guess that's why it needs screwing to the floor

actually you don't need to drill holes in the floor, only drill holes in the carpet, theres a back plate which you put behind the carpet that the front plate screws onto.

Guys how do you turn alerts on?

And I just checked ebay and im getting slightly different sport pedals: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Genuin ... 463b8050b7

They look like pedals for the Juke. Will these still fit?

The official Nissan instructions that came with the pedals said for juke/pulsar/note so I think the same set fit all 3 cars, has like 3 different set of instrucitons, ie for juke or note u need to cut the carpet to lift it up, but for pulsar you don't need to cut the carpet,
