New owner from Portugal

Hello, as stated in the title I'm the owner of a 1.2 DIG-T N-Connecta Pulsar, living in Portugal (but I'm italian), so please excuse my english.
The car is OK, but as I'm a perfectionist I feel that could be better, and I have had some minor niggles related with the stop/start mechanism.
More of this in another thread.
I'm very pleased I found a community of Pulsar owners.

Issues with the Stop/Start system seem to be a recurring theme. I've had a couple of instances where the car has stalled as I've pulled away from traffic lights after the Stop/Start has activated. I'm not sure yet whether the problem was me or the car.

when you say activated, do you mean restarts the engine

Yes, it's as if the engine hasn't fired up fully by the time I've released the clutch. I haven't had a problem with stalling the car when pulling away since I was learning to drive, and that was in the early '70s!

not had any issues myself with stop/start but tend to turn it off most times as rarely stuck in stationary traffic for more than 1min or 2, hope haven't jinked myself now.
